– SUMMER OCCASSION WEAR –
Hopefully by the time you finish reading this post you will have occasion wear nailed, or hopefully I can inspire you to go glam in some way this Summer. My colour of the moment makes a comeback with two new red hot numbers. Starting with this Nastygal jumpsuit – sophisticated, feminine and the perfect silhouette to flatter any figure.
With it’s subtle flared sleeves and crochet detailing its nodding at a couple of trends without being over the top. Pockets are perfection when it come to trouser suits and a common theme throughout the Nastygal site. I’m not sure when or where my pocket fascination began but I love them and I love how they can save your hands from wandering awkwardness.
I have such a fascination with the bardot top – I find an open neckline very elegant and a collar bone is really strangely sexy…apparently. That aside when I wear a bardot style it makes me feel fresh and almost ethereal which is a great look for the warmer months.
This white Nastygal jumpsuit is not only the perfect colour for this time of year but the structure of the bodice is such a flattering fit. Nipping in at the waist then protruding out into a mini peplum accentuates a woman’s natural curves and makes for a flattering fit.
I’ve momentarily replaced the LBD with and LBJ – the Little Black Jumpsuit – a new party essential. Again well done Nastygal for the gorgeous silhouette but what drew me to the design was how beautiful and detailed this bodice is.
For the affordable price I never imagined this would look as beautiful as it did when it arrived. As I always say – intricate detailing in clothes always makes it seem a lot more high-end than it actually is.
This final look has a hint of Audrey Hepburn and hugs the body in all the right paces. It cute, girly but somehow manages to be extremely sultry at the same time. As always with Nastygal the detailing is striking and lace is a huge trend at the moment – on that note expect a lace takeover next week!
