Look 3 is a monochrome affair emphasising one of my most favourable fashion rules – you just can’t go wrong with black! Black is my fail safe – I think it’s sexy & sophisticated, a definite winning combination.
The 70’s vibe was all over last seasons catwalk and definitely my inspiration behind layering polo necks and shirts underneath dresses and jumpsuits lately. I put my own spin on it and instead of opting for the seventies psychedelic colour palette I’ve gone black & white.
This look again is from Designer Exchange as we continue my LFW takeover. The stores actually have a lot more items than online so it’s definitely worth a visit, but I’ve popped some of my favourites below.
Let’s talk day 3 trends!
One of the most noticeable trends to come out of day 3 was neutral colour blocking (mainly tan) led by Burberry which you can see below here! Already a big fan of this having already worn the look recently on my Instagram and I can’t wait to experiment more!
This was definitely a new vibe for Burberry and the more the looks came out the more I fell in love with the collection. It started very urban and progressed into refined tailoring! The neutral and light blue colour palette is one that’s already hit the high street and can be found predominantly in H&M – I’m obsessed!
I didn’t think it was possible to love Victoria Beckham any more but I have to say this may be her best collection yet.
I love the pop of colour with the tailoring and also let’s just give an ‘amen’ to the shoe boots. Let’s just say I’m already on the hunt for some knee high shoe boots!
From the rest of the day it’s clear to see everything’s gone oversized! Big boxy oversized jackets and huge slouch jumpers. I’m very much an oversized kind of girl but I like to nip these things in at the waist so I cant wait for this to hit the highstreet so I can pair them with my beloved corset belts.
