It’s safe to say I’ve fallen in love with Paris. You may have noticed that I keep wandering over the channel to the city of love and it’s not going to stop any time soon. Paris for me is a step away from reality but close enough to still feel real and my favourite city break to take.

So I’m going to let you in on where I stayed and what I got up to this time round. Our first stop was the Chouette Hôtel, which means owl in french – a realisation after encountering a number of owls on arrival. It’s just south of the Eiffel Tower and takes around ten minutes in a cab to get there – which is a necessity whilst in Paris!

The staff are super helpful and the rooms light and airy to take you away from the busy Paris streets. If you’re anything like me you will really appreciate the balconette too for an iconic Paris morning shot. The price is also really reasonable! With croissants on tap and a perfect french breakfast buffet it’s an ideal hotel for a fun girls trip!

I have a giveaway competition over on my Instagram for the chance to win two days & one night for two people including breakfast – head to this post to enter.
Alternatively you can book a room a the Chouette Hôtel here.

Every time I arrive in Paris I seem to head to Kong for dinner first, it seems to be becoming a bit of a ritual. Everyone eats a lot later in Paris – perfect for a night owl like me. There is also a quaint ‘very typically french’ bar opposite the hotel so – vin blanc avec frites on arrival as always.

Since the hotel is named after a nocturnal bird I thought it was only necessary to talk about Paris night life. Paris by night is one of the reasons I love the city. For many reasons but mainly the fact that the crowd is a lot more mature and casual. I actually stumbled across a club I loved purely by accident – Le Rouge in Pigalle. It’s a great one for dancing all night long (literally), I’m also not a club king of person but….when in Paris.

A great place for lunch and quite the iconic haunt to be for bloggers in Paris is L’Avenue. Located directly opposite Dior its perfect to grab a picture for the ‘gram’ and fries at the same time – the kind of combination that really works for me.
