Like Bambi on ice it’s safe to say that skiing is not my forte. In fact anything to do with ice is simply a no go situation unless I want to brake a few bones. That said après ski I think I nailed! Like always I love an occasion to style out and as I’d never been to the slopes before I became simply fashion obsessed with snow style. After pinterest boards of planning I feel like I knew the look I wanted to go for!
Every time I plan for a trip away I have a ritual or process I go through which has made packing very easy for me. I may vlog it sometime and go through it thoroughly as it makes everything a lot less stressful. Firstly I pin looks that I love that I find on Instagram, Pinterest or anywhere on the web – these are usually fashion editorials or blogs. Then once I have collated a board of inspiration I head to the online shops and start pinning clothes that I like to another board. I then whittle that down until I have exactly what I want!
It may seem a little crazy but I like fashion, it’s like my cardio!
So you know me – loves a bargain – I managed to pick this ‘extra’ faux fur from Missguided in the Black Friday sale. The winter boots are Sorel dupes and actually a lot comfier and warmer than the real things as I have both! Snow boots are essential as there is nothing worse than cold soggy feet, so look after your tootsies and it will keep the rest of your body a lot warmer. Both pairs of boots I picked up for around £20 at Amazon – AMAZING considering Sorel boots usually come in around the £100 plus mark!

A great tip for après ski is have jeans or leggings on underneath your ski pants. That way once you’ve finished skiing you can take the baggy trousers off and have a cute pair underneath ready for your champers in the snow! To be fair I might just skip the ski part and head straight to the bar for the safety of not only myself but everyone around me!
