So I’m officially bringing the blog back in force – it’s been a little neglected this past year so I thought it was about time. You will usually find me over on Youtube but I missed this space where I could talk to you on a real personal level about life and all the things I’m loving at the moment.

This job for me has always felt like I decided to jump in at the deep end and then learn how to swim. These past three years have been a bit of a whirlwind and maybe you have or haven’t noticed that I’ve been paddling like crazy underneath the surface to try and stay afloat. So the first month of this year I’ve really tried to make some constructive changes that I hope you’re really going to enjoy.

It made me realise that the only way to be good at anything is to at first be bad and that everyone is at different chapters in their book so it’s really unproductive to compare yourself to others. Also something I’ve learnt from effectively running my own business is that things can’t change overnight so never get disheartened but instead put into play actions that will over time be beneficial.

So let’s talk about this weeks outfits and what seem like the first injection of Spring into my wardrobe. I’ve always been a lover of a black, white , beige colour palette when it comes to clothes – I think its a real easy way to look classy and put together. However that’s a tad boring isn’t it? This pink jacket is from Phase Eight and I’m loving their tailoring at the moment.

So over the next weeks you will be seeing me trying to work some vibrant colours into my wardrobe whilst still trying dress in an elegant way – starting with the colour pink! Pink is a hard one to tackle as I think it can go so easily wrong – I always have visions of being too Elle Woods. I’ve concocted a fail safe plan to master pink though and it’s to opt for something I’m going to called ‘muted pink’.

This white coat is a Zara special and what caught my eye was the button detail and the hardwearing tweed fabric which I thought was ideal for a white coat.

Muted pastels are definitely going to be creeping into my wardrobe over the next couple of weeks along with a lot of masculine jackets. Think oversized blazers paired with feminine dresses and camisoles.

This pleat skirt is from Marks and Spencer one of my favourite places to shop as I trust it for durability and quality. You can shop this outfit plus all other underneath the Youtube video I’ve linked below. You can see the items in motion too which is always insightful before a purchase.
I always love a change of season for a new lease of life to my wardrobe. I have lots of new ideas and silhouettes I want to try out so stay tuned for some more outfit inspiration.
