Welcome to Rome.
There is something so grand and glamorous about the Italian culture and Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel was exactly that. The first thing I have to tell you about is the incredible views the hotel boasts. It was quite frankly breathtaking.
The hotel is a ten minute taxi ride away from the centre of Rome and offers such a tranquil place to relax after a busy day exploring the city. The grounds are stunning with four swimming pools and views that go on for miles.
The drive up to the hotel reminded me of a movie as you’re met with the grand entrance that just oozes classic Italian glamour. The hotel has a luxury spa where you can enjoy La Prairie’s exclusive Swiss Treatments and Aromatherapy or unwind in the amethyst Turkish Bath. There is also a gym and fitness centre which we headed to straight off the flight to wake us up from an early start.
If the hotel wasn’t special enough the Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel also has the only Michelin star restaurant in the whole of Rome.
The suite itself had such a romantic feel to it with a marble bathroom of dreams! I can honestly say I will never forget waking up to that view in the morning and watching the sunrise over Rome.
