It’s my favourite time of year when the glitterati descend upon London and wear their most showcasing outfits. It’s a time to experiment, a time to stand out and a time to live and breathe fashion. I feel very much in my natural habitat at London Fashion Week.

This year I have partnered with Designer Exchange who have offered to dress me for the week. If I haven’t gone on about them enough over the past few months they buy and sell designer items. So whether you have a piece you would like to sell, looking for a designer bargain or vintage find then this is the place for you.

They have three stores in London (Knightsbridge, South Kensington & Chelsea) and the brand new Chelsea store stocks clothes for the first time! Being a Chelsea girl myself I can’t help but go for a rummage every time I’m on the Kings Road.

So London Fashion Week Day 1 – if you want to keep up with the shows I’m attending then definitely head to my Instagram stories. As well each day I thought I would collate a few of my favourite looks from all the shows shown to inspire you on new ways of dressing.

Mark Fast was a favourite of mine from Day 1 and actually the first show of the season for me. The fabric he used with the mass of billowing feathers in a pastel colour palette was just jaw dropping! Tailoring was a huge trend with mixed fabrics and texture too!

THE LOOK
Double Chanel, double pink, it’s a winning combination. There’s nothing more iconic than a full length tweed Chanel coat. I love Chanel and it has to be one of my favourite designers for its eternal class and timeless pieces. You could wear a Chanel coat for fifty years and it will never go out of fashion – now that’s what I call savvy shopping.

Designer Exchange, renowned for it’s handbags, has honestly the best collection of second hand bags that I’ve seen. The Knightsbridge store in particular is like a treasure trove of luxury finds. I purchased my Louis Vuitton there for just £150!
