For part two of our trip to Paris we stayed at Hôtel Le Sénat – with our very own balcony and central location it was perfect for the remainder of the trip.

Although it’s not quite Summer yet the balcony doors open whilst having breakfast in bed watching over the streets of Paris was a very nice touch.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris and is a great place walk along the river right down to the Eiffel tower to take in all the famous Parisian landmarks.

I really loved the decor throughout the hotel, it had a modern twist whilst still remaining traditional. My favourite part being that there is always croissants available in the lobby!

I was particular impressed with a lot of the artwork scattered around the hotel along with the gigantic mirrors located just above the bed. The beautiful designs contrasted with the urban Parisian streets outside and I love the juxtaposition.

The hotel is surrounded by some great places to grab a quick bite but if you’re anything like me you will love place we found to eat – Ristorante National. We had a very rainy Paris to deal with so this place was perfect for dinner with it’s glass ceiling and cosy couches it made for a lovely Sunday evening.

Book your stay here.

I’ve become quite addicted to heading to Paris for the weekend – it’s just so simple and quick to catch the Eurostar from Kings Cross. It’s actually easier to get to Paris than my family home in Liverpool. Also if you book in advance you can it at a really reasonable price.

I’m currently booking my next trip to Paris as we speak and I’m off to Vienna next week so stay tuned for some lot more travel inspo!
