I put together the look for day 2 when my eyes fells upon this jewel embellished blazer by Emilio Pucci. Like a magpie I’m immediately drawn to anything that sparkles, but Pucci just manages to do it an elegant classy way that doesn’t scream disco Fridays!
Not only was the soft twinkle working for me but the tailoring of this jacket is on point – fitted and feminine. So I went polar opposite and paired it with a mans white crisp shirt. I love androgynous vibes with super glam make up and hair I think it has a really powerful feel to it – major girl boss mode!
I went fall on sparkle and accessorised with a ‘Sparkly Chanel’ – I mean, those two words are just like music to my ears. Of course I have to give a mention to my instagram wifey’s Celine blazer. We always seem to perfectly match our ensembles but oppose in style and I absolutely love these looks together – it’s definitely our blog squad uniform!
Okay – let’s talk day two fashion! I wanted to first talk about Halpern and Mary Katrantzou – I mean wow! Halpern in particular has my red carpet glam ‘inspo’ written all over it! Floor length – sequins – bardot – it’s everything I love and more!
Mary Katrantzou and her waterfall of mulitcolours has got me wanting to experiment with colours so much more – ironically stated in a monochrome blog post!
SS19 is still playing around with the oversized shirt with the asymmetric aesthetic still continuing to be a running theme. There was definitely a nod to the Anglo Saxon era as well with with this warrior feel to many of the looks.
As well we see a lot of Vivienne Westwood similarities with the draping of fabric and the nipped in waist – which I absolutely love. Queen Viv has been my ultimate fashion influence since the dawn of time and actually where my love of fashion started.
